Meet Elizabeth
Hello!! My name is Elizabeth Gitto and I am a homeschooling mom that has fallen in love with teaching!! I have been homeschooling both my children since the 1st and 2nd grade and they are now turning 14 and 16 and entering middle and high school. I’m married to my husband Joe for 19 years, I grew up in NY and I graduated Marymount College Summa Cum Laude with a BA. I then pursued my love of acting which brought me out to CA in 2000.
Homeschooling has brought me on the most amazing learning journeys including our unforgettable trip up the New England coast where we toured the last whaling ship in CT, saw ancient Egyptian artifacts in RI and ate fresh meals on a farm we worked on and stayed at. I look forward to creating lasting memories with your children and creating a rich and nurturing environment for them to learn in. Who knows where this adventure may take us!!

English
English is tailored to the 7th/8th grader with emphasis on sentence structure, punctuation, parts of speech and sentence diagramming.
1 Hour class.
Materials - Notebook
History
We will start history with books like the Donner Party where we learn about the Westward Migration, and then move into the California Gold Rush, the Pony Express and the Dust Bowl. We will use our time reading and discussing the books, notebooking and developing a timeline.
1 Hour class.
Materials - Patty Reed’s Doll, Riders of the Pony Express, Jessie Benton Fremont, The Great Horn Spoon, and Blue Willow, Notebook

Science
A General Science course looking at a brief history of science, the scientific method, scientific law and hands on experiments.
1 Hour class.

Virtual Learning
All our online virtual classes are taught using the online meeting tool called "Zoom" if you all ready have Zoom great! If you don't have Zoom installed on your computer, tablet or phone click the link below to install it for Free.

The fee for each course is $20 per day
Book all 3 courses, the fee is $50 per day
